What "DTF in 24 hours" really means
You have to tell production and shipping apart. Production is the time we take to print your DTF and get it ready; shipping is the trip to your door. When someone promises "24 hours" with no nuance, they usually blend both, and that is where the asterisks come from.
Our commitment is clear: same-day dispatch if the order arrives before the cut-off, and delivery in 24-72 h by zone. That way you know from the start when you will have the material in hand, with no last-minute surprises.
- Production and shipping are different lead times.
- Same-day dispatch, not same-day delivery.
- Real delivery of 24 to 72 h by destination.
The cut-off: order and upload the file before 12:00
The cut-off is the line between shipping today or shipping tomorrow. If your order is paid and the file is uploaded before 12:00, it enters that day's production and prints the same day. After that hour, it moves to the next day's run.
Starting the order at 11:59 and uploading the design in the afternoon is not enough: the file must be available and validated before the cut-off. That is why it pays to prepare the PNG in advance and have it ready to upload.
- Cut-off: 12:00 (midday).
- Order paid and file uploaded before the cut-off.
- After 12:00, it ships the next day.
Shipping lead times by zone
Transport varies by destination. Mainland delivery is the fastest; Portugal falls into a similar range. The Balearic Islands and, above all, the Canary Islands add time due to the route and logistics formalities.
As a reference, once your DTF leaves production, delivery runs from 24 to 72 h. Mainland and Portugal at the low end, the Balearics in the middle and the Canaries at the high end. These are estimated transit times, not exact-hour promises.
- Mainland and Portugal: 24-48 h.
- Balearic Islands: 48-72 h.
- Canary Islands: 72 h or more due to island logistics.
What you need ready so it ships today
For the order to enter production cleanly, the file rules. Work in PNG with a transparent background, at good resolution and with colours in the right profile: design with CMYK in mind even if you export in RGB, because printing is CMYK and very saturated tones can shift.
Also check the real design size and the repeats you want on the sheet. The usable width is 60 cm; if your artwork fits within that width and the file is well prepared, there is no need to stop production to fix anything.
- PNG with transparent background and good resolution.
- Colour planned in CMYK, not just RGB.
- Design within the 60 cm usable width.
How same-day production is achieved
Producing today is not magic: it is flow. We print by the metre on PET film at a flat price of 7 €/m + VAT, so we waste no time on custom quotes or back-and-forth. The order comes in, the file is validated and it goes straight to the print queue.
The earlier before the cut-off your well-prepared order arrives, the better it fits into the day's production. If yours is urgent, get the PNG ready, order before 12:00 and, if you have doubts about colour or size, request a sample before launching the big run.
