FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you buy: price, surfaces, application, durability and files.

How much do UV stickers cost?

By the metre, €18/m ex VAT from 1 metre, a flat rate with no tiers. As sheets, €3.95 ex VAT per A4 sheet and €7.95 ex VAT per A3 sheet.

Why do they cost more than textile DTF?

Because the material and the high-resistance finish are different. Textile DTF starts at €7/m ex VAT and UV DTF at €18/m ex VAT.

Which surfaces do they stick to?

Rigid, smooth surfaces: glass, metal, plastic and wood. For example bottles, tumblers, laptops, helmets, packaging or signage.

Can I use them on t-shirts or fabric?

No. The UV sticker is not for fabric or for surfaces that get ironed: if the surface bends or goes in the washing machine, you need textile DTF, which is applied with a heat press.

How are they applied? Do I need a press?

No heat and no press: peel the sticker off, place it on the clean, dry surface, press with a finger or squeegee and remove the top film.

Do they stand up to water and outdoor use?

UV-cured ink resists water, abrasion and most household cleaning products, so it holds up indoors and in moderate outdoor use. For bottles and tumblers we recommend hand washing: dishwashers shorten the life of any sticker. For heavy outdoor use or dishwashers, ask us first.

Which formats can I order?

By the metre, on a roll with 56 cm usable width: you pay for the metres you use and can gang several designs together. As A4 and A3 sheets at a fixed price. Or by repetitions: upload one design, choose how many copies and get a single price, with optional piece-by-piece cutting.

What file should I send?

PNG, PDF/X-4, AI, PSD or TIFF, with the design on a transparent background and at real size.

Do you check the file?

Yes: a basic check of size, transparency and format before printing.

Can I test them before a big order?

Yes. The UV sticker sample pack contains assorted UV stickers with the same laminate and adhesive as production, so you can check adhesion, gloss and durability on your own surfaces.
