022. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser or device (computer, tablet or telephone) when you visit it. Cookies allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your language preferences or the contents of your basket, which makes browsing easier and ensures that the service works properly.

The term "cookies" also covers other technologies with an equivalent purpose, such as tracking pixels, browser local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) and the associated identifiers, which are governed by the same information and consent rules.

Cookies do not harm your device and, on their own, do not enable us to know your identity unless you provide it to us (for example, when registering or logging in to your account).

033. Types of cookies

Cookies can be classified according to various criteria. Understanding these categories helps you understand which cookies we use and why.

According to their purpose:

  • Technical or necessary cookies: these are essential for the site to function and for you to browse and use its services (for example, keeping you logged in, retaining the items in your basket, remembering your language or visual theme, or saving your decision about cookies). They do not require your consent.
  • Analytics or measurement cookies: these allow us to understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used (pages visited, time spent, errors) in order to improve the service. They require your consent.
  • Marketing or behavioural advertising cookies: these allow us to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and to display relevant advertising on third-party platforms based on your browsing. They require your consent.

According to who manages them:

  • First-party cookies: managed directly by DTF.pro from the dtf.pro domain.
  • Third-party cookies: managed by an external provider (for example, Google or Meta) that processes the data collected through them.

According to their duration:

  • Session cookies: automatically deleted when you close the browser.
  • Persistent cookies: remain stored on your device for a set period or until you delete them manually.

044. Cookies we use

Set out below are the cookies and similar technologies used on dtf.pro, grouped by category. Technical cookies are installed in all cases as they are necessary for the site to function; analytics and marketing cookies are only installed if you accept them in the cookie panel.

First-party technical cookies (necessary, legal basis: legitimate interest / performance of the service; no consent required):

User session
Keeps you signed in and protects your account (registration, login, file uploads and saved templates). First-party · Session / persistent.
Basket and configurator
Keeps your basket items and your gang sheet builder configuration during the purchase process. First-party · Session / persistent.
Language preference
Remembers the language chosen to display the site. First-party · Persistent.
Theme preference
Remembers the display mode (light or dark theme). First-party · Persistent.
Consent status
Stores your decision on cookie categories so we do not ask again on every visit. First-party · Persistent (up to 24 months).

Third-party analytics cookies (only with your consent):

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Aggregated statistical analysis of site usage to improve its performance and content. Third party: Google Ireland Limited · Persistent (up to 24 months). More information in Google’s privacy policies.

Third-party marketing cookies (only with your consent):

Meta Pixel
Campaign measurement and personalised advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Third party: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited · Persistent (up to 90 days, renewed while browsing). More information in Meta’s policies.
Google Ads (_gcl_au)
Measurement of Google Ads campaign conversions. Third party: Google Ireland Limited · Persistent (approx. 3 months). Further information in Google's privacy policies.

The retention periods indicated are approximate and may vary depending on each provider's configuration. The list of cookies may be updated; the current details are always available in the site's cookie panel.

055. Legal basis for the use of cookies

The use of cookies is governed by Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), which transposes Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), and by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) where cookies process personal data.

  • Technical or necessary cookies: these are exempt from the consent requirement as they are strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested. They are based on the performance of the relationship with the user and on the legitimate interest in ensuring the functioning, security and accessibility of the site.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies: these are based on your prior, freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent (Articles 6.1.a and 7 of the GDPR), which you give by means of a clear affirmative action in the cookie panel. You may withdraw it at any time as easily as you gave it.

In line with the Guidance on the use of cookies issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), no analytics or marketing cookies are installed before obtaining your consent, we do not treat mere inaction (continuing to browse or scroll down the page) as consent, and we offer a refusal that is as easy as acceptance.

066. How to manage or withdraw your consent

You have control over non-necessary cookies at all times. You have two complementary ways to manage them:

  • Site cookie panel: the first time you visit dtf.pro, a notice is displayed allowing you to Accept all, Reject all or Configure your preferences by category (analytics and marketing independently and granularly). You can reopen this panel whenever you wish via the cookie settings link available on the site, and change or withdraw your consent without this affecting browsing with technical cookies.
  • Browser settings: you can block, restrict or delete cookies already stored from your browser's settings. Consult your browser's help section (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge or others) to find out the specific procedure.

Please note that disabling technical or necessary cookies may prevent some parts of the site from working properly, such as logging in, uploading files, saving templates or completing your purchase.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.

077. Retention of cookies

Each cookie has a different retention period depending on its purpose. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser, whereas persistent cookies are kept for the period indicated in section 4 or until you delete them manually.

The record of your decision about cookies is kept for a maximum of 24 months, after which you will be asked for your consent again. The request will also be renewed if we significantly modify the cookies used.

In the case of third-party cookies, the retention periods and the subsequent processing of the data are subject to the privacy policies of the respective providers (Google and Meta).

088. International data transfers

Some third-party cookie providers, such as Google and Meta, may process data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. In such cases, those providers apply the safeguard mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You can find more information about these transfers and their safeguards in each provider's privacy policy, accessible from their respective websites.

099. Your rights

In relation to the personal data processed by means of cookies, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise them, contact NEROLF S.L.U. via the email address hola@dtf.pro or the postal address Calle Claudio Ptolomeo, Nave 3, Polígono Industrial Las Capellanías, 10005 Cáceres (España), indicating the right you wish to exercise. You will find further information in our Privacy Policy.

If you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable rules, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es). Likewise, for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, you may have recourse to the official complaint forms, the Consumer Arbitration Boards (Juntas Arbitrales de Consumo) or an alternative dispute resolution entity accredited under Spanish Law 7/2017 of 2 November.

1010. Updates to this policy

DTF.pro may amend this Cookie Policy to bring it into line with regulatory or technical changes or changes to the cookies used, as well as with the AEPD's guidance. Any amendment will be published on this same page.

Where the changes affect cookies that require consent, you will be asked for it again via the cookie panel before they are installed. We recommend that you review this policy periodically to keep up to date with how we use cookies.

For any queries about this policy you can contact us at hola@dtf.pro or on telephone +34 655 087 864.
